washing socks

Well, Today I spent most of the day doing luandry- including some hand spun hand knit socks.
Not my favorite chore I shall say however the look of them drying is great! This is something I got at the local Amish shop- love it for skeins and socks LOL.

Plying time

Well, its monday, and things are up and running- I have 6 bobbins of single yarn spun now- and today I shall ply the 3 yarns and spin some more. Kids are at school today so its quiet again- thankfully!

Today is a bit dreary out- threatening rain here, which is okay as we need it.

I did get a pair of socks done for a friend's brother last weekend -

he hunts and needs warm socks LOL. Now to make the other pair for the friend.

So off to work I go!

The days are getting shorter now, so time to sit, spin, knit and dye up new yarns as I can.

This past week has been a busy one, I have made a list of projects I want to do this winter. You can all help me to stay on track with them if possible.

I have been busy with some fibers I bought this year at Md Sheep and Wool festival. Ohh are they wonderful to work with.

Dyeing the wool is so much fun - I think I got a bit carried away with it can you tell?

I have so many ideas in my head - but have to keep to my plans .
